It is incomparable, people that know not. World Book Day is a day set aside by the international body to appreciate and encourage people to read. Graceland schools join the world to mark the day, our students exchange ideas from books they have read.
Children’s day is a commemorative date celebrated annually on 27th of May each year in honour of children.
Cultural awareness and tradition plays important roles in helping young children develop a positive sense of identity and build self esteem. Cultural awareness contributes to building a positive self image and helps children to create a diverse social network while transitioning into adulthood. The major tribes in Nigeria are HAUSA, IGBO and YORUBA with over 250 languages.
The INTERHOUSE event is of great importance to school life. Its major function is to inculcate the spirit of healthy competition among learners. It gives the learners the opportunity to participate in the field and track events with the aim of building self esteem, developing self confidence and giving opportunity for leadership and teamwork.
It is an activity organized by the school during which students leave the school premises to engage in educational adventures. We have visited places like: THEATRE ART IGANMU, OLUMO ROCK, OBASONJO PRESIDENTIAL LIBRARY, SLAVE TRADE BADAGRY - POINT OF NO RETURN etc
This day provides students with a dynamic and tangible experience that facilitates a connection between their academic pursuits and professional endeavors in the future.
Celebration of NIGERIA day of freedom from the British colony which comes up 1st of OCTOBER every year. Graceland Schools joins fellow Nigerians to celebrate our day of independence.
Success makes us happy. Each success story increases students self-confident.
